Psalms 11:1 In the LORD put I my trust: how say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain?
Psalms 11:2 For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart.
Psalms 11:3 If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?
Psalms 11:4 The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD's throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.
Psalms 11:5 The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.
Psalms 11:6 Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup.
Psalms 11:7 For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright.



Psalms 85:1 Lord, thou hast been favourable unto thy land: thou hast brought back the captivity of Jacob.
Psalms 85:2 Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people, thou hast covered all their sin. Selah.
Psalms 85:3 Thou hast taken away all thy wrath: thou hast turned thyself from the fierceness of thine anger.
Psalms 85:4 Turn us, O God of our salvation, and cause thine anger toward us to cease.
Psalms 85:5 Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? wilt thou draw out thine anger to all generations?
Psalms 85:6 Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?
Psalms 85:7 Shew us thy mercy, O LORD, and grant us thy salvation.
Psalms 85:8 I will hear what God the LORD will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly.
Psalms 85:9 Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land.
Psalms 85:10 Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.
Psalms 85:11 Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven.
Psalms 85:12 Yea, the LORD shall give that which is good; and our land shall yield her increase.
Psalms 85:13 Righteousness shall go before him; and shall set us in the way of his steps.



Psalms 105:1 O give thanks unto the LORD; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people.
Psalms 105:2 Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him: talk ye of all his wondrous works.
Psalms 105:3 Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.
Psalms 105:4 Seek the LORD, and his strength: seek his face evermore.
Psalms 105:5 Remember his marvellous works that he hath done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;
Psalms 105:6 O ye seed of Abraham his servant, ye children of Jacob his chosen.
Psalms 105:7 He is the LORD our God: his judgments are in all the earth.
Psalms 105:8 He hath remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations.
Psalms 105:9 Which covenant he made with Abraham, and his oath unto Isaac;
Psalms 105:10 And confirmed the same unto Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant:
Psalms 105:11 Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance:
Psalms 105:12 When they were but a few men in number; yea, very few, and strangers in it.
Psalms 105:13 When they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people;
Psalms 105:14 He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes;
Psalms 105:15 Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.
Psalms 105:16 Moreover he called for a famine upon the land: he brake the whole staff of bread.
Psalms 105:17 He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was sold for a servant:

Psalms 105:18 Whose feet they hurt with fetters: he was laid in iron:
Psalms 105:19 Until the time that his word came: the word of the LORD tried him.
Psalms 105:20 The king sent and loosed him; even the ruler of the people, and let him go free.

Psalms 105:21 He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his substance:
Psalms 105:22 To bind his princes at his pleasure; and teach his senators wisdom.
Psalms 105:23 Israel also came into Egypt; and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.
Psalms 105:24 And he increased his people greatly; and made them stronger than their enemies.
Psalms 105:25 He turned their heart to hate his people, to deal subtilly with his servants.
Psalms 105:26 He sent Moses his servant; and Aaron whom he had chosen.
Psalms 105:27 They shewed his signs among them, and wonders in the land of Ham.
Psalms 105:28 He sent darkness, and made it dark; and they rebelled not against his word.
Psalms 105:29 He turned their waters into blood, and slew their fish.
Psalms 105:30 Their land brought forth frogs in abundance, in the chambers of their kings.
Psalms 105:31 He spake, and there came divers sorts of flies, and lice in all their coasts.
Psalms 105:32 He gave them hail for rain, and flaming fire in their land.
Psalms 105:33 He smote their vines also and their fig trees; and brake the trees of their coasts.
Psalms 105:34 He spake, and the locusts came, and caterpillers, and that without number,
Psalms 105:35 And did eat up all the herbs in their land, and devoured the fruit of their ground.
Psalms 105:36 He smote also all the firstborn in their land, the chief of all their strength.

Psalms 105:37 He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes.
Psalms 105:38 Egypt was glad when they departed: for the fear of them fell upon them.
Psalms 105:39 He spread a cloud for a covering; and fire to give light in the night.
Psalms 105:40 The people asked, and he brought quails, and satisfied them with the bread of heaven.
Psalms 105:41 He opened the rock, and the waters gushed out; they ran in the dry places like a river.
Psalms 105:42 For he remembered his holy promise, and Abraham his servant.
Psalms 105:43 And he brought forth his people with joy, and his chosen with gladness:
Psalms 105:44 And gave them the lands of the heathen: and they inherited the labour of the people;

Psalms 105:45 That they might observe his statutes, and keep his laws. Praise ye the LORD.



Psalms 138:1 I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise unto thee.
Psalms 138:2 I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
Psalms 138:3 In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.
Psalms 138:4 All the kings of the earth shall praise thee, O LORD, when they hear the words of thy mouth.
Psalms 138:5 Yea, they shall sing in the ways of the LORD: for great is the glory of the LORD.
Psalms 138:6 Though the LORD be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off.
Psalms 138:7 Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.
Psalms 138:8 The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.



Psalms 130:1 Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O LORD.
Psalms 130:2 Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.
Psalms 130:3 If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?
Psalms 130:4 But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.
Psalms 130:5 I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.
Psalms 130:6 My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.
Psalms 130:7 Let Israel hope in the LORD: for with the LORD there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption.
Psalms 130:8 And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.



Psalms 41:1 Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble.
Psalms 41:2 The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies.
Psalms 41:3 The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness.
Psalms 41:4 I said, LORD, be merciful unto me: heal my soul; for I have sinned against thee.
Psalms 41:5 Mine enemies speak evil of me, When shall he die, and his name perish?
Psalms 41:6 And if he come to see me, he speaketh vanity: his heart gathereth iniquity to itself; when he goeth abroad, he telleth it.
Psalms 41:7 All that hate me whisper together against me: against me do they devise my hurt.
Psalms 41:8 An evil disease, say they, cleaveth fast unto him: and now that he lieth he shall rise up no more.
Psalms 41:9 Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me.
Psalms 41:10 But thou, O LORD, be merciful unto me, and raise me up, that I may requite them.
Psalms 41:11 By this I know that thou favourest me, because mine enemy doth not triumph over me.
Psalms 41:12 And as for me, thou upholdest me in mine integrity, and settest me before thy face for ever.
Psalms 41:13 Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting, and to everlasting. Amen, and Amen.



Psalms 99:1 The LORD reigneth; let the people tremble: he sitteth between the cherubims; let the earth be moved.
Psalms 99:2 The LORD is great in Zion; and he is high above all the people.
Psalms 99:3 Let them praise thy great and terrible name; for it is holy.
Psalms 99:4 The king's strength also loveth judgment; thou dost establish equity, thou executest judgment and righteousness in Jacob.
Psalms 99:5 Exalt ye the LORD our God, and worship at his footstool; for he is holy.
Psalms 99:6 Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among them that call upon his name; they called upon the LORD, and he answered them.
Psalms 99:7 He spake unto them in the cloudy pillar: they kept his testimonies, and the ordinance that he gave them.
Psalms 99:8 Thou answeredst them, O LORD our God: thou wast a God that forgavest them, though thou tookest vengeance of their inventions.
Psalms 99:9 Exalt the LORD our God, and worship at his holy hill; for the LORD our God is holy.



Psalms 44:1 We have heard with our ears, O God, our fathers have told us, what work thou didst in their days, in the times of old.
Psalms 44:2 How thou didst drive out the heathen with thy hand, and plantedst them; how thou didst afflict the people, and cast them out.
Psalms 44:3 For they got not the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them: but thy right hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst a favour unto them.
Psalms 44:4 Thou art my King, O God: command deliverances for Jacob.
Psalms 44:5 Through thee will we push down our enemies: through thy name will we tread them under that rise up against us.
Psalms 44:6 For I will not trust in my bow, neither shall my sword save me.
Psalms 44:7 But thou hast saved us from our enemies, and hast put them to shame that hated us.
Psalms 44:8 In God we boast all the day long, and praise thy name for ever. Selah.
Psalms 44:9 But thou hast cast off, and put us to shame; and goest not forth with our armies.
Psalms 44:10 Thou makest us to turn back from the enemy: and they which hate us spoil for themselves.
Psalms 44:11 Thou hast given us like sheep appointed for meat; and hast scattered us among the heathen.
Psalms 44:12 Thou sellest thy people for nought, and dost not increase thy wealth by their price.
Psalms 44:13 Thou makest us a reproach to our neighbours, a scorn and a derision to them that are round about us.
Psalms 44:14 Thou makest us a byword among the heathen, a shaking of the head among the people.
Psalms 44:15 My confusion is continually before me, and the shame of my face hath covered me,
Psalms 44:16 For the voice of him that reproacheth and blasphemeth; by reason of the enemy and avenger.
Psalms 44:17 All this is come upon us; yet have we not forgotten thee, neither have we dealt falsely in thy covenant.
Psalms 44:18 Our heart is not turned back, neither have our steps declined from thy way;
Psalms 44:19 Though thou hast sore broken us in the place of dragons, and covered us with the shadow of death.
Psalms 44:20 If we have forgotten the name of our God, or stretched out our hands to a strange god;
Psalms 44:21 Shall not God search this out? for he knoweth the secrets of the heart.
Psalms 44:22 Yea, for thy sake are we killed all the day long; we are counted as sheep for the slaughter.
Psalms 44:23 Awake, why sleepest thou, O Lord? arise, cast us not off for ever.
Psalms 44:24 Wherefore hidest thou thy face, and forgettest our affliction and our oppression?
Psalms 44:25 For our soul is bowed down to the dust: our belly cleaveth unto the earth.
Psalms 44:26 Arise for our help, and redeem us for thy mercies' sake.



Jeremiah 31:1 At the same time, saith the LORD, will I be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be my people.
Jeremiah 31:2 Thus saith the LORD, The people which were left of the sword found grace in the wilderness; even Israel, when I went to cause him to rest.
Jeremiah 31:3 The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.
Jeremiah 31:4 Again I will build thee, and thou shalt be built, O virgin of Israel: thou shalt again be adorned with thy tabrets, and shalt go forth in the dances of them that make merry.
Jeremiah 31:5 Thou shalt yet plant vines upon the mountains of Samaria: the planters shall plant, and shall eat them as common things.
Jeremiah 31:6 For there shall be a day, that the watchmen upon the mount Ephraim shall cry, Arise ye, and let us go up to Zion unto the LORD our God.
Jeremiah 31:7 For thus saith the LORD; Sing with gladness for Jacob, and shout among the chief of the nations: publish ye, praise ye, and say, O LORD, save thy people, the remnant of Israel.
Jeremiah 31:8 Behold, I will bring them from the north country, and gather them from the coasts of the earth, and with them the blind and the lame, the woman with child and her that travaileth with child together: a great company shall return thither.
Jeremiah 31:9 They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn.
Jeremiah 31:10 Hear the word of the LORD, O ye nations, and declare it in the isles afar off, and say, He that scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd doth his flock.
Jeremiah 31:11 For the LORD hath redeemed Jacob, and ransomed him from the hand of him that was stronger than he.
Jeremiah 31:12 Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, and shall flow together to the goodness of the LORD, for wheat, and for wine, and for oil, and for the young of the flock and of the herd: and their soul shall be as a watered garden; and they shall not sorrow any more at all.
Jeremiah 31:13 Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together: for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.
Jeremiah 31:14 And I will satiate the soul of the priests with fatness, and my people shall be satisfied with my goodness, saith the LORD.
Jeremiah 31:15 Thus saith the LORD; A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping; Rahel weeping for her children refused to be comforted for her children, because they were not.
Jeremiah 31:16 Thus saith the LORD; Refrain thy voice from weeping, and thine eyes from tears: for thy work shall be rewarded, saith the LORD; and they shall come again from the land of the enemy.
Jeremiah 31:17 And there is hope in thine end, saith the LORD, that thy children shall come again to their own border.
Jeremiah 31:18 I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself thus; Thou hast chastised me, and I was chastised, as a bullock unaccustomed to the yoke: turn thou me, and I shall be turned; for thou art the LORD my God.
Jeremiah 31:19 Surely after that I was turned, I repented; and after that I was instructed, I smote upon my thigh: I was ashamed, yea, even confounded, because I did bear the reproach of my youth.
Jeremiah 31:20 Is Ephraim my dear son? is he a pleasant child? for since I spake against him, I do earnestly remember him still: therefore my bowels are troubled for him; I will surely have mercy upon him, saith the LORD.
Jeremiah 31:21 Set thee up waymarks, make thee high heaps: set thine heart toward the highway, even the way which thou wentest: turn again, O virgin of Israel, turn again to these thy cities.
Jeremiah 31:22 How long wilt thou go about, O thou backsliding daughter? for the LORD hath created a new thing in the earth, A woman shall compass a man.
Jeremiah 31:23 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; As yet they shall use this speech in the land of Judah and in the cities thereof, when I shall bring again their captivity; The LORD bless thee, O habitation of justice, and mountain of holiness.
Jeremiah 31:24 And there shall dwell in Judah itself, and in all the cities thereof together, husbandmen, and they that go forth with flocks.
Jeremiah 31:25 For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul.
Jeremiah 31:26 Upon this I awaked, and beheld; and my sleep was sweet unto me.
Jeremiah 31:27 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of man, and with the seed of beast.
Jeremiah 31:28 And it shall come to pass, that like as I have watched over them, to pluck up, and to break down, and to throw down, and to destroy, and to afflict; so will I watch over them, to build, and to plant, saith the LORD.
Jeremiah 31:29 In those days they shall say no more, The fathers have eaten a sour grape, and the children's teeth are set on edge.
Jeremiah 31:30 But every one shall die for his own iniquity: every man that eateth the sour grape, his teeth shall be set on edge.
Jeremiah 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
Jeremiah 31:32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:
Jeremiah 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
Jeremiah 31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
Jeremiah 31:35 Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name:
Jeremiah 31:36 If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.
Jeremiah 31:37 Thus saith the LORD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the LORD.
Jeremiah 31:38 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that the city shall be built to the LORD from the tower of Hananeel unto the gate of the corner.
Jeremiah 31:39 And the measuring line shall yet go forth over against it upon the hill Gareb, and shall compass about to Goath.
Jeremiah 31:40 And the whole valley of the dead bodies, and of the ashes, and all the fields unto the brook of Kidron, unto the corner of the horse gate toward the east, shall be holy unto the LORD; it shall not be plucked up, nor thrown down any more for ever.



Psalms 73:1 Truly God is good to Israel, even to such as are of a clean heart.
Psalms 73:2 But as for me, my feet were almost gone; my steps had well nigh slipped.
Psalms 73:3 For I was envious at the foolish, when I saw the prosperity of the
wicked.
Psalms 73:4 For there are no bands in their death: but their strength is firm.
Psalms 73:5 They are not in trouble as other men; neither are they plagued like other men.

Psalms 73:6 Therefore pride compasseth them about as a chain; violence covereth them as a garment.
Psalms 73:7 Their eyes stand out with fatness: they have more than heart could wish.

Psalms 73:8 They are corrupt, and speak wickedly concerning oppression: they speak loftily.
Psalms 73:9 They set their mouth against the heavens, and their tongue walketh through the earth.

Psalms 73:10 Therefore his people return hither: and waters of a full cup are wrung out to them.
Psalms 73:11 And they say, How doth God know? and is there knowledge in the most High?
Psalms 73:12 Behold, these are the ungodly, who prosper in the world; they increase in riches.
Psalms 73:13 Verily I have cleansed my heart in vain, and washed my hands in innocency.
Psalms 73:14 For all the day long have I been plagued, and chastened every morning.
Psalms 73:15 If I say, I will speak thus; behold, I should offend against the generation of thy children.
Psalms 73:16 When I thought to know this, it was too painful for me;
Psalms 73:17 Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end.
Psalms 73:18 Surely thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castedst them down into destruction.
Psalms 73:19 How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment! they are utterly consumed with terrors.

Psalms 73:20 As a dream when one awaketh; so, O Lord, when thou awakest, thou shalt despise their image.
Psalms 73:21 Thus my heart was grieved, and I was pricked in my reins.
Psalms 73:22 So foolish was I, and ignorant: I was as a beast before thee.

Psalms 73:23 Nevertheless I am continually with thee: thou hast holden me by my right hand.
Psalms 73:24 Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.
Psalms 73:25 Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee.
Psalms 73:26 My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.

Psalms 73:27 For, lo, they that are far from thee shall perish: thou hast destroyed all them that go a whoring from thee.
Psalms 73:28 But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works.



Psalms 17:1 Hear the right, O LORD, attend unto my cry, give ear unto my prayer, that goeth not out of feigned lips.
Psalms 17:2 Let my sentence come forth from thy presence; let thine eyes behold the things that are equal.
Psalms 17:3 Thou hast proved mine heart; thou hast visited me in the night; thou hast tried me, and shalt find nothing; I am purposed that my mouth shall not transgress.
Psalms 17:4 Concerning the works of men, by the word of thy lips I have kept me from the paths of the destroyer.
Psalms 17:5 Hold up my goings in thy paths, that my footsteps slip not.

Psalms 17:6 I have called upon thee, for thou wilt hear me, O God: incline thine ear unto me, and hear my speech.
Psalms 17:7 Shew thy marvellous lovingkindness, O thou that savest by thy right hand them which put their trust in thee from those that rise up against them.

Psalms 17:8 Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings,
Psalms 17:9 From the wicked that oppress me, from my deadly enemies, who compass me about.
Psalms 17:10 They are inclosed in their own fat: with their mouth they speak proudly.
Psalms 17:11 They have now compassed us in our steps: they have set their eyes bowing down to the earth;
Psalms 17:12 Like as a lion that is greedy of his prey, and as it were a young lion lurking in secret places.
Psalms 17:13 Arise, O LORD, disappoint him, cast him down: deliver my soul from the wicked, which is thy sword:
Psalms 17:14 From men which are thy hand, O LORD, from men of the world, which have their portion in this life, and whose belly thou fillest with thy hid treasure: they are full of children, and leave the rest of their substance to their babes.
Psalms 17:15 As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness.



Psalms 118:1 O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever.
Psalms 118:2 Let Israel now say, that his mercy endureth for ever.
Psalms 118:3 Let the house of Aaron now say, that his mercy endureth for ever.
Psalms 118:4 Let them now that fear the LORD say, that his mercy endureth for ever.
Psalms 118:5 I called upon the LORD in distress: the LORD answered me, and set me in a large place.
Psalms 118:6 The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?

Psalms 118:7 The LORD taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me.
Psalms 118:8 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.
Psalms 118:9 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.
Psalms 118:10 All nations compassed me about: but in the name of the LORD will I destroy them.
Psalms 118:11 They compassed me about; yea, they compassed me about: but in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.
Psalms 118:12 They compassed me about like bees: they are quenched as the fire of thorns: for in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.
Psalms 118:13 Thou hast thrust sore at me that I might fall: but the LORD helped me.
Psalms 118:14 The LORD is my strength and song, and is become my salvation.
Psalms 118:15 The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.
Psalms 118:16 The right hand of the LORD is exalted: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.
Psalms 118:17 I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.

Psalms 118:18 The LORD hath chastened me sore: but he hath not given me over unto death.
Psalms 118:19 Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and I will praise the LORD:

Psalms 118:26 Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the LORD: we have blessed you out of the house of the LORD.
Psalms 118:27 God is the LORD, which hath shewed us light: bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the altar.
Psalms 118:28 Thou art my God, and I will praise thee: thou art my God, I will exalt thee.

Psalms 117:1 O praise the LORD, all ye nations: praise him, all ye people.

Psalms 85:1 Lord, thou hast been favourable unto thy land: thou hast brought back the captivity of Jacob.

Psalms 85:6 Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?

Psalms 85:7 Shew us thy mercy, O LORD, and grant us thy salvation.
Psalms 85:8 I will hear what God the LORD will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly.
Psalms 85:9 Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land.
Psalms 85:10 Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.
Psalms 85:11 Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven.
Psalms 85:12 Yea, the LORD shall give that which is good; and our land shall yield her increase.
Psalms 85:13 Righteousness shall go before him; and shall set us in the way of his steps.





Psalms 47:1 O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph.
Psalms 47:2 For the LORD most high is terrible; he is a great King over all the earth.

Psalms 47:3 He shall subdue the people under us, and the nations under our feet.
Psalms 47:4 He shall choose our inheritance for us, the excellency of Jacob whom he loved. Selah.

Psalms 47:5 God is gone up with a shout, the LORD with the sound of a trumpet.
Psalms 47:6 Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises.
Psalms 47:7 For God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding.

Psalms 47:8 God reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness.
Psalms 47:9 The princes of the people are gathered together, even the people of the God of Abraham: for the shields of the earth belong unto God: he is greatly exalted.



Psalms 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Psalms 46:2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
Psalms 46:3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.
Psalms 46:4 There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.
Psalms 46:5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.
Psalms 46:6 The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.
Psalms 46:7 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.
Psalms 46:8 Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he hath made in the earth.
Psalms 46:9 He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire.
Psalms 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

Psalms 21:1 The king shall joy in thy strength, O LORD; and in thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!
Psalms 21:2 Thou hast given him his heart's desire, and hast not withholden the request of his lips. Selah.
Psalms 21:3 For thou preventest him with the blessings of goodness: thou settest a crown of pure gold on his head.
Psalms 21:4 He asked life of thee, and thou gavest it him, even length of days for ever and ever.
Psalms 21:5 His glory is great in thy salvation: honour and majesty hast thou laid upon him.
Psalms 21:6 For thou hast made him most blessed for ever: thou hast made him exceeding glad with thy countenance.

Psalms 21:7 For the king trusteth in the LORD, and through the mercy of the most High he shall not be moved.
Psalms 21:8 Thine hand shall find out all thine enemies: thy right hand shall find out those that hate thee.
Psalms 21:9 Thou shalt make them as a fiery oven in the time of thine anger: the LORD shall swallow them up in his wrath, and the fire shall devour them.
Psalms 21:10 Their fruit shalt thou destroy from the earth, and their seed from among the children of men.
Psalms 21:11 For they intended evil against thee: they imagined a mischievous device, which they are not able to perform.
Psalms 21:12 Therefore shalt thou make them turn their back, when thou shalt make ready thine arrows upon thy strings against the face of them.
Psalms 21:13 Be thou exalted, LORD, in thine own strength: so will we sing and praise thy power.



Psalms 20:1 The LORD hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee;
Psalms 20:2 Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion;
Psalms 20:3 Remember all thy offerings, and accept thy burnt sacrifice; Selah.
Psalms 20:4 Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel.
Psalms 20:5 We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the LORD fulfil all thy petitions.
Psalms 20:6 Now know I that the LORD saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand.
Psalms 20:7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.
Psalms 20:8 They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright.
Psalms 20:9 Save, LORD: let the king hear us when we call.



Psalms 99:1 The LORD reigneth; let the people tremble: he sitteth between the cherubims; let the earth be moved.
Psalms 99:2 The LORD is great in Zion; and he is high above all the people.
Psalms 99:3 Let them praise thy great and terrible name; for it is holy.

Psalms 99:4 The king's strength also loveth judgment; thou dost establish equity, thou executest judgment and righteousness in Jacob.
Psalms 99:5 Exalt ye the LORD our God, and worship at his footstool; for he is holy.
Psalms 99:6 Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among them that call upon his name; they called upon the LORD, and he answered them.
Psalms 99:7 He spake unto them in the cloudy pillar: they kept his testimonies, and the ordinance that he gave them.
Psalms 99:8 Thou answeredst them, O LORD our God: thou wast a God that forgavest them, though thou tookest vengeance of their inventions.
Psalms 99:9 Exalt the LORD our God, and worship at his holy hill; for the LORD our God is holy.



Psalms 118:1 O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever.

Jeremiah 46:1 The word of the LORD which came to Jeremiah the prophet against the Gentiles;
Jeremiah 46:2 Against Egypt, against the army of Pharaohnecho king of Egypt, which was by the river Euphrates in Carchemish, which Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon smote in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah.
Jeremiah 46:3 Order ye the buckler and shield, and draw near to battle.
Jeremiah 46:4 Harness the horses; and get up, ye horsemen, and stand forth with your helmets; furbish the spears, and put on the brigandines.

Jeremiah 46:5 Wherefore have I seen them dismayed and turned away back? and their mighty ones are beaten down, and are fled apace, and look not back: for fear was round about, saith the LORD.
Jeremiah 46:6 Let not the swift flee away, nor the mighty man escape; they shall stumble, and fall toward the north by the river Euphrates.
Jeremiah 46:7 Who is this that cometh up as a flood, whose waters are moved as the rivers?
Jeremiah 46:8 Egypt riseth up like a flood, and his waters are moved like the rivers; and he saith, I will go up, and will cover the earth; I will destroy the city and the inhabitants thereof.
Jeremiah 46:9 Come up, ye horses; and rage, ye chariots; and let the mighty men come forth; the Ethiopians and the Libyans, that handle the shield; and the Lydians, that handle and bend the bow.
Jeremiah 46:10 For this is the day of the Lord GOD of hosts, a day of vengeance, that he may avenge him of his adversaries: and the sword shall devour, and it shall be satiate and made drunk with their blood: for the Lord GOD of hosts hath a sacrifice in the north country by the river Euphrates.

Jeremiah 46:11 Go up into Gilead, and take balm, O virgin, the daughter of Egypt: in vain shalt thou use many medicines; for thou shalt not be cured.
Jeremiah 46:12 The nations have heard of thy shame, and thy cry hath filled the land: for the mighty man hath stumbled against the mighty, and they are fallen both together.
Jeremiah 46:13 The word that the LORD spake to Jeremiah the prophet, how Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon should come and smite the land of Egypt.

Jeremiah 46:14 Declare ye in Egypt, and publish in Migdol, and publish in Noph and in Tahpanhes: say ye, Stand fast, and prepare thee; for the sword shall devour round about thee.
Jeremiah 46:15 Why are thy valiant men swept away? they stood not, because the LORD did drive them.

Jeremiah 46:16 He made many to fall, yea, one fell upon another: and they said, Arise, and let us go again to our own people, and to the land of our nativity, from the oppressing sword.
Jeremiah 46:17 They did cry there, Pharaoh king of Egypt is but a noise; he hath passed the time appointed.

Jeremiah 46:18 As I live, saith the King, whose name is the LORD of hosts, Surely as Tabor is among the mountains, and as Carmel by the sea, so shall he come.
Jeremiah 46:19 O thou daughter dwelling in Egypt, furnish thyself to go into captivity: for Noph shall be waste and desolate without an inhabitant.
Jeremiah 46:20 Egypt is like a very fair heifer, but destruction cometh; it cometh out of the north.
Jeremiah 46:21 Also her hired men are in the midst of her like fatted bullocks; for they also are turned back, and are fled away together: they did not stand, because the day of their calamity was come upon them, and the time of their visitation.

Jeremiah 46:22 The voice thereof shall go like a serpent; for they shall march with an army, and come against her with axes, as hewers of wood.
Jeremiah 46:23 They shall cut down her forest, saith the LORD, though it cannot be searched; because they are more than the grasshoppers, and are innumerable.

Jeremiah 46:24 The daughter of Egypt shall be confounded; she shall be delivered into the hand of the people of the north.
Jeremiah 46:25 The LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saith; Behold, I will punish the multitude of No, and Pharaoh, and Egypt, with their gods, and their kings; even Pharaoh, and all them that trust in him:
Jeremiah 46:26 And I will deliver them into the hand of those that seek their lives, and into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and into the hand of his servants: and afterward it shall be inhabited, as in the days of old, saith the LORD.
Jeremiah 46:27 But fear not thou, O my servant Jacob, and be not dismayed, O Israel: for, behold, I will save thee from afar off, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and be in rest and at ease, and none shall make him afraid.
Jeremiah 46:28 Fear thou not, O Jacob my servant, saith the LORD: for I am with thee; for I will make a full end of all the nations whither I have driven thee: but I will not make a full end of thee, but correct thee in measure; yet will I not leave thee wholly unpunished.



Psalms 073:001 Truly God is good to Israel, even to such as are of a clean heart.
Psalms 073:002 But as for me, my feet were almost gone; my steps had well nigh slipped.
Psalms 073:003 For I was envious at the foolish, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.

Psalms 073:004 For there are no bands in their death: but their strength is firm.
Psalms 073:005 They are not in trouble as other men; neither are they plagued like other men.

Psalms 073:006 Therefore pride compasseth them about as a chain; violence covereth them as a garment.
Psalms 073:007 Their eyes stand out with fatness: they have more than heart could wish.
Psalms 073:008 They are corrupt, and speak wickedly concerning oppression: they speak loftily.

Psalms 073:009 They set their mouth against the heavens, and their tongue walketh through the earth.
Psalms 073:010 Therefore his people return hither: and waters of a full cup are wrung out to them.

Psalms 073:011 And they say, How doth God know? and is there knowledge in the most High?
Psalms 073:012 Behold, these are the ungodly, who prosper in the world; they increase in riches.

Psalms 073:013 Verily I have cleansed my heart in vain, and washed my hands in innocency.
Psalms 073:014 For all the day long have I been plagued, and chastened every morning.

Psalms 073:015 If I say, I will speak thus; behold, I should offend against the generation of thy children.
Psalms 073:016 When I thought to know this, it was too painful for me;
Psalms 073:017 Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end.
Psalms 073:018 Surely thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castedst them down into destruction.
Psalms 073:019 How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment! they are utterly consumed with terrors.
Psalms 073:020 As a dream when one awaketh; so, O Lord, when thou awakest, thou shalt despise their image.

Psalms 073:021 Thus my heart was grieved, and I was pricked in my reins.
Psalms 073:022 So foolish was I, and ignorant: I was as a beast before thee.
Psalms 073:023 Nevertheless I am continually with thee: thou hast holden me by my right hand.
Psalms 073:024 Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.

Psalms 073:025 Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee.
Psalms 073:026 My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.
Psalms 073:027 For, lo, they that are far from thee shall perish: thou hast destroyed all them that go a whoring from thee.

Psalms 073:028 But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works.



Isaiah 35:1 The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose.
Isaiah 35:2 It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing: the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon, they shall see the glory of the LORD, and the excellency of our God.
Isaiah 35:3 Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees.
Isaiah 35:4 Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you.

Isaiah 35:5 Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.
Isaiah 35:6 Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert.

Isaiah 35:7 And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water: in the habitation of dragons, where each lay, shall be grass with reeds and rushes.
Isaiah 35:8 And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.
Isaiah 35:9 No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there:
Isaiah 35:10 And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.



Isaiah 34:1 Come near, ye nations, to hear; and hearken, ye people: let the earth hear, and all that is therein; the world, and all things that come forth of it.
Isaiah 34:2 For the indignation of the LORD is upon all nations, and his fury upon all their armies: he hath utterly destroyed them, he hath delivered them to the slaughter.
Isaiah 34:3 Their slain also shall be cast out, and their stink shall come up out of their carcases, and the mountains shall be melted with their blood.
Isaiah 34:4 And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree.
Isaiah 34:5 For my sword shall be bathed in heaven: behold, it shall come down upon Idumea, and upon the people of my curse, to judgment.
Isaiah 34:6 The sword of the LORD is filled with blood, it is made fat with fatness, and with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams: for the LORD hath a sacrifice in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Idumea.
Isaiah 34:7 And the unicorns shall come down with them, and the bullocks with the bulls; and their land shall be soaked with blood, and their dust made fat with fatness.
Isaiah 34:8 For it is the day of the LORD's vengeance, and the year of recompences for the controversy of Zion.
Isaiah 34:9 And the streams thereof shall be turned into pitch, and the dust thereof into brimstone, and the land thereof shall become burning pitch.

Isaiah 34:10 It shall not be quenched night nor day; the smoke thereof shall go up for ever: from generation to generation it shall lie waste; none shall pass through it for ever and ever.
Isaiah 34:11 But the cormorant and the bittern shall possess it; the owl also and the raven shall dwell in it: and he shall stretch out upon it the line of confusion, and the stones of emptiness.
Isaiah 34:12 They shall call the nobles thereof to the kingdom, but none shall be there, and all her princes shall be nothing.
Isaiah 34:13 And thorns shall come up in her palaces, nettles and brambles in the fortresses thereof: and it shall be an habitation of dragons, and a court for owls.
Isaiah 34:14 The wild beasts of the desert shall also meet with the wild beasts of the island, and the satyr shall cry to his fellow; the screech owl also shall rest there, and find for herself a place of rest.
Isaiah 34:15 There shall the great owl make her nest, and lay, and hatch, and gather under her shadow: there shall the vultures also be gathered, every one with her mate.
Isaiah 34:16 Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them.
Isaiah 34:17 And he hath cast the lot for them, and his hand hath divided it unto them by line: they shall possess it for ever, from generation to generation shall they dwell therein.



Isaiah 43:1 But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.
Isaiah 43:2 When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
Isaiah 43:3 For I am the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee.
Isaiah 43:4 Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee: therefore will I give men for thee, and people for thy life.
Isaiah 43:5 Fear not: for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west;
Isaiah 43:6 I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth;

Isaiah 43:7 Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.
Isaiah 43:8 Bring forth the blind people that have eyes, and the deaf that have ears.
Isaiah 43:9 Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the people be assembled: who among them can declare this, and shew us former things? let them bring forth their witnesses, that they may be justified: or let them hear, and say, It is truth.

Isaiah 43:10 Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.
Isaiah 43:11 I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.

Isaiah 43:12 I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, that I am God.
Isaiah 43:13 Yea, before the day was I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it?
Isaiah 43:14 Thus saith the LORD, your redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; For your sake I have sent to Babylon, and have brought down all their nobles, and the Chaldeans, whose cry is in the ships.
Isaiah 43:15 I am the LORD, your Holy One, the creator of Israel, your King.
Isaiah 43:16 Thus saith the LORD, which maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters;
Isaiah 43:17 Which bringeth forth the chariot and horse, the army and the power; they shall lie down together, they shall not rise: they are extinct, they are quenched as tow.
Isaiah 43:18 Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.
Isaiah 43:19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

Isaiah 43:20 The beast of the field shall honour me, the dragons and the owls: because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen.
Isaiah 43:21 This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise.
Isaiah 43:22 But thou hast not called upon me, O Jacob; but thou hast been weary of me, O Israel.
Isaiah 43:23 Thou hast not brought me the small cattle of thy burnt offerings; neither hast thou honoured me with thy sacrifices. I have not caused thee to serve with an offering, nor wearied thee with incense.
Isaiah 43:24 Thou hast bought me no sweet cane with money, neither hast thou filled me with the fat of thy sacrifices: but thou hast made me to serve with thy sins, thou hast wearied me with thine iniquities.
Isaiah 43:25 I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins.
Isaiah 43:26 Put me in remembrance: let us plead together: declare thou, that thou mayest be justified.
Isaiah 43:27 Thy first father hath sinned, and thy teachers have transgressed against me.
Isaiah 43:28 Therefore I have profaned the princes of the sanctuary, and have given Jacob to the curse, and Israel to reproaches.




Isaiah 42:1 Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.
Isaiah 42:2 He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street.
Isaiah 42:3 A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth.
Isaiah 42:4 He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his law.
Isaiah 42:5 Thus saith God the LORD, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein:
Isaiah 42:6 I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles;

Isaiah 42:7 To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.
Isaiah 42:8 I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.
Isaiah 42:9 Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.
Isaiah 42:10 Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise from the end of the earth, ye that go down to the sea, and all that is therein; the isles, and the inhabitants thereof.
Isaiah 42:11 Let the wilderness and the cities thereof lift up their voice, the villages that Kedar doth inhabit: let the inhabitants of the rock sing, let them shout from the top of the mountains.
Isaiah 42:12 Let them give glory unto the LORD, and declare his praise in the islands.
Isaiah 42:13 The LORD shall go forth as a mighty man, he shall stir up jealousy like a man of war: he shall cry, yea, roar; he shall prevail against his enemies.
Isaiah 42:14 I have long time holden my peace; I have been still, and refrained myself: now will I cry like a travailing woman; I will destroy and devour at once.
Isaiah 42:15 I will make waste mountains and hills, and dry up all their herbs; and I will make the rivers islands, and I will dry up the pools.

Isaiah 42:16 And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them.
Isaiah 42:17 They shall be turned back, they shall be greatly ashamed, that trust in graven images, that say to the molten images, Ye are our gods.
Isaiah 42:18 Hear, ye deaf; and look, ye blind, that ye may see.
Isaiah 42:19 Who is blind, but my servant? or deaf, as my messenger that I sent? who is blind as he that is perfect, and blind as the LORD's servant?

Isaiah 42:20 Seeing many things, but thou observest not; opening the ears, but he heareth not.
Isaiah 42:21 The LORD is well pleased for his righteousness' sake; he will magnify the law, and make it honourable.
Isaiah 42:22 But this is a people robbed and spoiled; they are all of them snared in holes, and they are hid in prison houses: they are for a prey, and none delivereth; for a spoil, and none saith, Restore.
Isaiah 42:23 Who among you will give ear to this? who will hearken and hear for the time to come?
Isaiah 42:24 Who gave Jacob for a spoil, and Israel to the robbers? did not the LORD, he against whom we have sinned? for they would not walk in his ways, neither were they obedient unto his law.
Isaiah 42:25 Therefore he hath poured upon him the fury of his anger, and the strength of battle: and it hath set him on fire round about, yet he knew not; and it burned him, yet he laid it not to heart.



Psalms 20:1 The LORD hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee;
Psalms 20:2 Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion;
Psalms 20:3 Remember all thy offerings, and accept thy burnt sacrifice; Selah.
Psalms 20:4 Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel.
Psalms 20:5 We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the LORD fulfil all thy petitions.
Psalms 20:6 Now know I that the LORD saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand.
Psalms 20:7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.
Psalms 20:8 They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright.
Psalms 20:9 Save, LORD: let the king hear us when we call.



Isaiah 35:1 The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose.
Isaiah 35:2 It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing: the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon, they shall see the glory of the LORD, and the excellency of our God.

Isaiah 35:3 Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees.
Isaiah 35:4 Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you.
Isaiah 35:5 Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.
Isaiah 35:6 Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert.
Isaiah 35:7 And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water: in the habitation of dragons, where each lay, shall be grass with reeds and rushes.
Isaiah 35:8 And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.
Isaiah 35:9 No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there:
Isaiah 35:10 And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.



Isaiah 50:1 Thus saith the LORD, Where is the bill of your mother's divorcement, whom I have put away? or which of my creditors is it to whom I have sold you? Behold, for your iniquities have ye sold yourselves, and for your transgressions is your mother put away.
Isaiah 50:2 Wherefore, when I came, was there no man? when I called, was there none to answer? Is my hand shortened at all, that it cannot redeem? or have I no power to deliver? behold, at my rebuke I dry up the sea, I make the rivers a wilderness: their fish stinketh, because there is no water, and dieth for thirst.
Isaiah 50:3 I clothe the heavens with blackness, and I make sackcloth their covering.
Isaiah 50:4 The Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned.
Isaiah 50:5 The Lord GOD hath opened mine ear, and I was not rebellious, neither turned away back.
Isaiah 50:6 I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting.
Isaiah 50:7 For the Lord GOD will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.
Isaiah 50:8 He is near that justifieth me; who will contend with me? let us stand together: who is mine adversary? let him come near to me.
Isaiah 50:9 Behold, the Lord GOD will help me; who is he that shall condemn me? lo, they all shall wax old as a garment; the moth shall eat them up.
Isaiah 50:10 Who is among you that feareth the LORD, that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that walketh in darkness, and hath no light? let him trust in the name of the LORD, and stay upon his God.
Isaiah 50:11 Behold, all ye that kindle a fire, that compass yourselves about with sparks: walk in the light of your fire, and in the sparks that ye have kindled. This shall ye have of mine hand; ye shall lie down in sorrow.



Isaiah 032:1 Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in judgment.
Isaiah 032:2 And a man shall be as an hiding place from the wind, and a covert from the tempest; as rivers of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a weary land.
Isaiah 032:3 And the eyes of them that see shall not be dim, and the ears of them that hear shall hearken.
Isaiah 032:4 The heart also of the rash shall understand knowledge, and the tongue of the stammerers shall be ready to speak plainly.
Isaiah 032:5 The vile person shall be no more called liberal, nor the churl said to be bountiful.
Isaiah 032:6 For the vile person will speak villany, and his heart will work iniquity, to practise hypocrisy, and to utter error against the LORD, to make empty the soul of the hungry, and he will cause the drink of the thirsty to fail.
Isaiah 032:7 The instruments also of the churl are evil: he deviseth wicked devices to destroy the poor with lying words, even when the needy speaketh right.
Isaiah 032:8 But the liberal deviseth liberal things; and by liberal things shall he stand.
Isaiah 032:9 Rise up, ye women that are at ease; hear my voice, ye careless daughters; give ear unto my speech.
Isaiah 032:10 Many days and years shall ye be troubled, ye careless women: for the vintage shall fail, the gathering shall not come.
Isaiah 032:11 Tremble, ye women that are at ease; be troubled, ye careless ones: strip you, and make you bare, and gird sackcloth upon your loins.
Isaiah 032:12 They shall lament for the teats, for the pleasant fields, for the fruitful vine.
Isaiah 032:13 Upon the land of my people shall come up thorns and briers; yea, upon all the houses of joy in the joyous city:
Isaiah 032:14 Because the palaces shall be forsaken; the multitude of the city shall be left; the forts and towers shall be for dens for ever, a joy of wild asses, a pasture of flocks;
Isaiah 032:15 Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest.
Isaiah 032:16 Then judgment shall dwell in the wilderness, and righteousness remain in the fruitful field.
Isaiah 032:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.
Isaiah 032:18 And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places;
Isaiah 032:19 When it shall hail, coming down on the forest; and the city shall be low in a low place.
Isaiah 032:20 Blessed are ye that sow beside all waters, that send forth thither the feet of the ox and the ass.



Psalms 144:1 Blessed be the LORD my strength which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight:
Psalms 144:2 My goodness, and my fortress; my high tower, and my deliverer; my shield, and he in whom I trust; who subdueth my people under me.

Psalms 144:3 LORD, what is man, that thou takest knowledge of him! or the son of man, that thou makest account of him!
Psalms 144:4 Man is like to vanity: his days are as a shadow that passeth away.
Psalms 144:5 Bow thy heavens, O LORD, and come down: touch the mountains, and they shall smoke.
Psalms 144:6 Cast forth lightning, and scatter them: shoot out thine arrows, and destroy them.
Psalms 144:7 Send thine hand from above; rid me, and deliver me out of great waters, from the hand of strange children;
Psalms 144:8 Whose mouth speaketh vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of falsehood.
Psalms 144:9 I will sing a new song unto thee, O God: upon a psaltery and an instrument of ten strings will I sing praises unto thee.

Psalms 144:10 It is he that giveth salvation unto kings: who delivereth David his servant from the hurtful sword.
Psalms 144:11 Rid me, and deliver me from the hand of strange children, whose mouth speaketh vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of falsehood:
Psalms 144:12 That our sons may be as plants grown up in their youth; that our daughters may be as corner stones, polished after the similitude of a palace:
Psalms 144:13 That our garners may be full, affording all manner of store: that our sheep may bring forth thousands and ten thousands in our streets:
Psalms 144:14 That our oxen may be strong to labour; that there be no breaking in, nor going out; that there be no complaining in our streets.
Psalms 144:15 Happy is that people, that is in such a case: yea, happy is that people, whose God is the LORD.



Psalms 40:1 I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.

Psalms 40:2 He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.

Psalms 40:3 And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.

Psalms 40:4 Blessed is that man that maketh the LORD his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.

Psalms 40:5 Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.

Psalms 40:6 Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required.

Psalms 40:7 Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me,

Psalms 40:8 I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.

Psalms 40:9 I have preached righteousness in the great congregation: lo, I have not refrained my lips, O LORD, thou knowest.

Psalms 40:10 I have not hid thy righteousness within my heart; I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation: I have not concealed thy lovingkindness and thy truth from the great congregation.

Psalms 40:11 Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O LORD: let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me.

Psalms 40:12 For innumerable evils have compassed me about: mine iniquities have taken hold upon me, so that I am not able to look up; they are more than the hairs of mine head: therefore my heart faileth me.

Psalms 40:13 Be pleased, O LORD, to deliver me: O LORD, make haste to help me.

Psalms 40:14 Let them be ashamed and confounded together that seek after my soul to destroy it; let them be driven backward and put to shame that wish me evil.

Psalms 40:15 Let them be desolate for a reward of their shame that say unto me, Aha, aha.

Psalms 40:16 Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: let such as love thy salvation say continually, The LORD be magnified.

Psalms 40:17 But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me: thou art my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God.
