Word of God study

2 Corinthians 002:001 But I determined this with myself, that I would not come again to you in heaviness.
2 Corinthians 002:002 For if I make you sorry, who is he then that maketh me glad, but the same which is made sorry by me?

2 Corinthians 002:003 And I wrote this same unto you, lest, when I came, I should have sorrow from them of whom I ought to rejoice; having confidence in you all, that my joy is the joy of you all.
2 Corinthians 002:004 For out of much affliction and anguish of heart I wrote unto you with many tears; not that ye should be grieved, but that ye might know the love which I have more abundantly unto you.
2 Corinthians 002:005 But if any have caused grief, he hath not grieved me, but in part: that I may not overcharge you all.
2 Corinthians 002:006 Sufficient to such a man is this punishment, which was inflicted of many.
2 Corinthians 002:007 So that contrariwise ye ought rather to forgive him, and comfort him, lest perhaps such a one should be swallowed up with overmuch sorrow.
2 Corinthians 002:008 Wherefore I beseech you that ye would confirm your love toward him.
2 Corinthians 002:009 For to this end also did I write, that I might know the proof of you, whether ye be obedient in all things.
2 Corinthians 002:010 To whom ye forgive any thing, I forgive also: for if I forgave any thing, to whom I forgave it, for your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ;
2 Corinthians 002:011 Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.
2 Corinthians 002:012 Furthermore, when I came to Troas to preach Christ's gospel, and a door was opened unto me of the Lord,
2 Corinthians 002:013 I had no rest in my spirit, because I found not Titus my brother: but taking my leave of them, I went from thence into Macedonia.
2 Corinthians 002:014 Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.
2 Corinthians 002:015 For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish:
2 Corinthians 002:016 To the one we are the savour of death unto death; and to the other the savour of life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things?
2 Corinthians 002:017 For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.

Hosea 014:001 O israel, return unto the LORD thy God; for thou hast fallen by thine iniquity.
Hosea 014:002 Take with you words, and turn to the LORD: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips.
Hosea 014:003 Asshur shall not save us; we will not ride upon horses: neither will we say any more to the work of our hands, Ye are our gods: for in thee the fatherless findeth mercy.
Hosea 014:004 I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely: for mine anger is turned away from him.
Hosea 014:005 I will be as the dew unto Israel: he shall grow as the lily, and cast forth his roots as Lebanon.
Hosea 014:006 His branches shall spread, and his beauty shall be as the olive tree, and his smell as Lebanon.
Hosea 014:007 They that dwell under his shadow shall return; they shall revive as the corn, and grow as the vine: the scent thereof shall be as the wine of Lebanon.
Hosea 014:008 Ephraim shall say, What have I to do any more with idols? I have heard him, and observed him: I am like a green fir tree. From me is thy fruit found.
Hosea 014:009 Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of the LORD are right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall fall therein.
Ezekiel 022:001 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
Ezekiel 022:002 Now, thou son of man, wilt thou judge, wilt thou judge the bloody city? yea, thou shalt shew her all her abominations.
Ezekiel 022:003 Then say thou, Thus saith the Lord GOD, The city sheddeth blood in the midst of it, that her time may come, and maketh idols against herself to defile herself.
Ezekiel 022:004 Thou art become guilty in thy blood that thou hast shed; and hast defiled thyself in thine idols which thou hast made; and thou hast caused thy days to draw near, and art come even unto thy years: therefore have I made thee a reproach unto the heathen, and a mocking to all countries.
Ezekiel 022:005 Those that be near, and those that be far from thee, shall mock thee, which art infamous and much vexed.
Ezekiel 022:006 Behold, the princes of Israel, every one were in thee to their power to shed blood.
Ezekiel 022:007 In thee have they set light by father and mother: in the midst of thee have they dealt by oppression with the stranger: in thee have they vexed the fatherless and the widow.
Ezekiel 022:008 Thou hast despised mine holy things, and hast profaned my sabbaths.
Ezekiel 022:009 In thee are men that carry tales to shed blood: and in thee they eat upon the mountains: in the midst of thee they commit lewdness.
Ezekiel 022:010 In thee have they discovered their fathers' nakedness: in thee have they humbled her that was set apart for pollution.
Ezekiel 022:011 And one hath committed abomination with his neighbour's wife; and another hath lewdly defiled his daughter in law; and another in thee hath humbled his sister, his father's daughter.
Ezekiel 022:012 In thee have they taken gifts to shed blood; thou hast taken usury and increase, and thou hast greedily gained of thy neighbours by extortion, and hast forgotten me, saith the Lord GOD.
Ezekiel 022:013 Behold, therefore I have smitten mine hand at thy dishonest gain which thou hast made, and at thy blood which hath been in the midst of thee.
Ezekiel 022:014 Can thine heart endure, or can thine hands be strong, in the days that I shall deal with thee? I the LORD have spoken it, and will do it.
Ezekiel 022:015 And I will scatter thee among the heathen, and disperse thee in the countries, and will consume thy filthiness out of thee.
Ezekiel 022:016 And thou shalt take thine inheritance in thyself in the sight of the heathen, and thou shalt know that I am the LORD.
Ezekiel 022:017 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
Ezekiel 022:018 Son of man, the house of Israel is to me become dross: all they are brass, and tin, and iron, and lead, in the midst of the furnace; they are even the dross of silver.
Ezekiel 022:019 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye are all become dross, behold, therefore I will gather you into the midst of Jerusalem.
Ezekiel 022:020 As they gather silver, and brass, and iron, and lead, and tin, into the midst of the furnace, to blow the fire upon it, to melt it; so will I gather you in mine anger and in my fury, and I will leave you there, and melt you.
Ezekiel 022:021 Yea, I will gather you, and blow upon you in the fire of my wrath, and ye shall be melted in the midst therof.
Ezekiel 022:022 As silver is melted in the midst of the furnace, so shall ye be melted in the midst thereof; and ye shall know that I the LORD have poured out my fury upon you.
Ezekiel 022:023 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
Ezekiel 022:024 Son of man, say unto her, Thou art the land that is not cleansed, nor rained upon in the day of indignation.
Ezekiel 022:025 There is a conspiracy of her prophets in the midst thereof, like a roaring lion ravening the prey; they have devoured souls; they have taken the treasure and precious things; they have made her many widows in the midst thereof.
Ezekiel 022:026 Her priests have violated my law, and have profaned mine holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they shewed difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am profaned among them.
Ezekiel 022:027 Her princes in the midst thereof are like wolves ravening the prey, to shed blood, and to destroy souls, to get dishonest gain.
Ezekiel 022:028 And her prophets have daubed them with untempered morter, seeing vanity, and divining lies unto them, saying, Thus saith the Lord GOD, when the LORD hath not spoken.
Ezekiel 022:029 The people of the land have used oppression, and exercised robbery, and have vexed the poor and needy: yea, they have oppressed the stranger wrongfully.
Ezekiel 022:030 And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.
Ezekiel 022:031 Therefore have I poured out mine indignation upon them; I have consumed them with the fire of my wrath: their own way have I recompensed upon their heads, saith the Lord GOD.
John 008:001 Jesus went unto the mount of Olives.
John 008:002 And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them.
John 008:003 And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst,
John 008:004 They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act.
John 008:005 Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou?
John 008:006 This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not.
John 008:007 So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.
John 008:008 And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground.
John 008:009 And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.
John 008:010 When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?
John 008:011 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.
John 008:012 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
John 008:013 The Pharisees therefore said unto him, Thou bearest record of thyself; thy record is not true.
John 008:014 Jesus answered and said unto them, Though I bear record of myself, yet my record is true: for I know whence I came, and whither I go; but ye cannot tell whence I come, and whither I go.
John 008:015 Ye judge after the flesh; I judge no man.
John 008:016 And yet if I judge, my judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me.
John 008:017 It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true.
John 008:018 I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me.
John 008:019 Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also.
John 008:020 These words spake Jesus in the treasury, as he taught in the temple: and no man laid hands on him; for his hour was not yet come.
John 008:021 Then said Jesus again unto them, I go my way, and ye shall seek me, and shall die in your sins: whither I go, ye cannot come.
John 008:022 Then said the Jews, Will he kill himself? because he saith, Whither I go, ye cannot come.
John 008:023 And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world.
John 008:024 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.
John 008:025 Then said they unto him, Who art thou? And Jesus saith unto them, Even the same that I said unto you from the beginning.
John 008:026 I have many things to say and to judge of you: but he that sent me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I have heard of him.
John 008:027 They understood not that he spake to them of the Father.
John 008:028 Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.
John 008:029 And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.
John 008:030 As he spake these words, many believed on him.
John 008:031 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
John 008:032 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
John 008:033 They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?
John 008:034 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.
John 008:035 And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever.
John 008:036 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
John 008:037 I know that ye are Abraham's seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you.
John 008:038 I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father.
John 008:039 They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham.
John 008:040 But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.
John 008:041 Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God.
John 008:042 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.
John 008:043 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.
John 008:044 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
John 008:045 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.
John 008:046 Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?
John 008:047 He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.
John 008:048 Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a devil?
John 008:049 Jesus answered, I have not a devil; but I honour my Father, and ye do dishonour me.
John 008:050 And I seek not mine own glory: there is one that seeketh and judgeth.
John 008:051 Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.
John 008:052 Then said the Jews unto him, Now we know that thou hast a devil. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and thou sayest, If a man keep my saying, he shall never taste of death.
John 008:053 Art thou greater than our father Abraham, which is dead? and the prophets are dead: whom makest thou thyself?
John 008:054 Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God:
John 008:055 Yet ye have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying.
John 008:056 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.
John 008:057 Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?
John 008:058 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.
John 008:059 Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.
